A knee length gothic dress from Dark Star.  The bodice section of the dress is made from black velvet with a black silky panel covered in heavy black applique edged with braid and with black satin ribbon corset lacing.  The skirt section is made from soft black polyester silk which has been rouched at intervals and finished with black organza roses.  The silk is covered entirely with soft black net.  Beneath this is stiffened black netting which extends below the hem.  The back has an elasticated velvet panel in order to accommodate a range of sizes and the straps are elasticated and adjustable.  A pretty and very detailed dress.
