A stunning Dark Star gothic Victorian governess skirt made from lightweight silky black satin.  The skirt is sewn in sections which are ruffled all the way round and between each section is a narrow black lace insert.  The skirt has a purple underskirt finished with fine purple net and black lace-covered frill at the hem. The purple underskirt shows through the narrow lace inserts of the over-skirt.  Elasticated waistband with a drawstring cord.  Very dramatic.
