A purple crushed velvet short length jacket with braid around the neckline, the front, the hem and the seams.  The front of the jacket fastens with five intricate jewelled and mirrored buttons.  One front panel on each side of the front and sleeve cuffs are decorated with purple embroidery and sequins.  The back is undecorated crushed velvet.  The jacket has gently padded shoulders and is cotton lined throughout.
