RETURNS

In the event you are not happy with your purchase, please return it to us within 14 days and please email sales@thegothiccatwalk.co.uk beforehand to advise us that you are returning the item(s).  We will issue a refund provided the goods are returned in unused/unworn condition, with all original tags and labels in place and in the original manufacturer's packaging if applicable. We reserve the right to charge a £2.50 repackaging fee if the original packaging is not returned with the item or if it is unusable.  This will be deducted from your refund.  Please return the delivery note with the item and state the reason for the return.  Please also return any promotional material and any extras that may have been included with your order.  All returns are inspected and a refund will only be made once we are satisfied all our criteria have been met.  If an item shows any signs of wear, damage or if it is returned to us in any condition other than how is was sent to you, it will be returned to you and a refund will not be granted.  We will only refund postage costs if an item is faulty or arrives damaged due to our negligence. We do our best to give as accurate a description of items as possible together with close measurements which we strongly advise you to check before ordering to save you unnecessary inconvenience and costs if you have to return an item.

EXCHANGES

We're happy to exchange items provided they are returned in unused/unworn condition and with all relevant labels / tags intact and in its original packaging.  Please email sales@thegothiccatwalk.co.uk ahead of returning an item to check stock availability of whatever it is you wish to exchange your item for.  If your reason for return is that you ordered the wrong size or colour, or simply that you've changed your mind, then you will be responsible for the return postage costs and also for the cost of sending out the replacement items.  If you wish to exchange an item due to an error on our part, or in the unlikely event that the item is faulty, then we will bear all postage costs incurred.

LOST OR DAMAGED ITEMS

We send the majority of orders by First Class Recorded Delivery or International Signed For Airmail for overseas customers.  We therefore have a record and a tracking number for every order sent.  Items lost or damaged in the post that have been packed correctly are usually insured.  We will fill out any necessary claims forms at the Post Office on your behalf and liaise with the relevant postal service to achieve a satisfactory outcome on your behalf. In the event that this becomes necessary, please be aware a refund will be made as soon as we have clearance from the Royal Mail/Parcel Force - this can take several weeks but we will endeavour to keep you informed of all developments as appropriate.
